北京师范大学汉语言文学系本科，教育专业硕士，教师资格证持有者，从事语言文学教育工作15年。

教学心得: 在中国，新加坡，英国的教学经历赋予了我宝贵的经验，也让我对从事教育事业矢志不移。2016年我开始在Wimbledon地区开展针对母语中文学习的教学活动，得到了学生和家长的支持和肯定。我希望运用自己的专业知识，帮助更多中文母语背景的孩子双语成长。

Ms Cao

Founder of Yimu Education. 

I have a Master of Education teacher qualification and have been engaged in Chinese language and literature education for over 15 years.

My international teaching experience has seen me teach in China and Singapore and over the past 7 years I have been gaining valuable experience in the United Kingdom.

In recent years, I began to carry out Chinese teaching within the Wimbledon area, to which I received support and affirmation from students and parents. 

I hope to use my professional knowledge to help more children with Chinese language and culture activities that are looking to grow up bilingually in our global world.

担任7岁及以上学生班级及GCSE的中文班老师。

威斯敏斯特大学媒体管理硕士，成长于教育行业家庭，从小受到言传身教。现任中文母语/非母语班级教师，活动策划。维伟老师擅长悉心引导，耐心讲解，手把手教小朋友写汉字，给小朋友讲故事，做游戏，引导小朋友快乐学习中文。

教学心得：每当看着小朋友越来越准确的能够用中文表达自己，会写的中文越来越多，我都觉得非常的欣慰。语言是一门工具，希望小朋友们能在愉悦的中文环境中学习到有用的知识和有趣的文化。

Wei Wei

Currently teaching GCSE Chinese Class and Chinese language to students aged 7 and above at Yimu Education. 

I have a Master's in media management qualification and grew up in a family of educators who shared experiences that I have brought with me to support Yimu Education.

My teaching experience has come from my family but also supporting Teacher Cao where I ensure careful guidance and patient explanation. Recently I have been supporting Yimu Education’s non-native students with learning to write Chinese characters, telling stories, language/cultural activities, and guiding children to learn Chinese in a fun environment.

I hope to learn and develop so that Children I teach can take the Chinese knowledge and develop an interest in Chinese culture that will support then in the world we live in.

担任3-11岁学生中文美育班老师。

毕业与伦敦艺术大学中央圣马丁学院设计专业一等学位，在伦敦美术机构及画室的任教中积累了丰富的艺术教学经验。 精通油画、水彩、素描、丙烯、彩色铅笔、电子绘画等多种绘画媒介，热衷于将中国丰富的美术技巧教育与西方的创意思维培养相结合，为学生提供全面和多元化的艺术教育。

教学理念：通过12年的国内外艺术学习经验，我深信观察、绘画、手工技能的培养与艺术鉴赏、独特风格探索、创新思维的培养应该相互交织在一起。在艺术创作中获得乐趣，能够帮助孩子培养审美观，了解世界文化，锻炼观察、耐心和专注于细节的能力。从小鼓励孩子保持想象力和创造力，同时获得扎实的美术基础，使他们能够体验创作的成就感，享受学习和成长的过程，并更加欣赏生活中的美。

Shin

I currently teach as a Chinese art instructor at Yimu Education, teaching students aged 3-11. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and have accumulated significant teaching experience at various art institutions and studios in London. My expertise spans multiple painting media, including oil, watercolour, sketching, acrylic, coloured pencils, and digital painting.

With over 12 years of experience in art education, I am passionate about combining technical skills with creative thinking. My goal is to provide students with a comprehensive and diverse art education that nurtures their creativity while developing their observational and manual skills. I believe this approach helps children appreciate art, understand different cultures, and enhance their focus and imagination, setting a strong foundation for both artistic growth and personal development.

Awards and Honors:

• 2022: Team project shortlisted for the International IF Emerging Design Award
• 2022: Coordinated with the student union team to plan and exhibit the UAL Chinese Student Union's current exhibition at Miart Gallery
• 2021: Coordinated with the student union team to plan and exhibit the Chinese Traditional to Eccentric Art Exhibition at MCM London and Hoxton Gallery
• 2021: Personal design project won the final prize of the Precious Food Designer Award, exhibited at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center
• 2021: Personal design project received the third prize in the youth group of the International Chinese Character Cultural Creative Design Competition.

伦敦艺术大学与京都工艺纤维大学设计学硕士，琵琶十级，业余足球运动员，软式曲棍球国际初级裁判员。

她擅长以游戏互动形式展开教学，引导学生在玩的过程中收获知识。她在学校和各类公益组织中有丰富的教学经历，并积极在包容性教育支持方面进行训练和研究。在课堂中她善于借助多学科的交叉互补加深记忆，是一名文体两开花的综合型老师。

Juju

Currently teaching Chinese language to students aged 4-7 at Yimu Education and also serves as a teaching assistant for both art and Chinese classes. I hold a Master's degree in Design from the University of the Arts London and the Kyoto Institute of Technology. In addition to my academic background, I hold a 10th-level certification in the Pipa (a traditional Chinese instrument), and I am an amateur football player and an international junior referee for soft hockey.

My teaching style focuses on interactive, game-based learning, making the classroom experience both educational and fun for students. I have extensive teaching experience across schools and public welfare organisations, and I am deeply involved in training and research related to inclusive education support. By integrating cross-disciplinary methods, I aim to enhance memory retention and create a dynamic learning environment that blends both the arts and sports, providing a well-rounded educational experience.

金斯顿大学插画专业硕士，擅长儿童绘本，叙事插画。

教学心得：孩子们的想法往往比成年人更加丰富，更加直接，通过带领小朋友们根据课堂内容去运用综合材料创作属于他们自己的手工艺品，让他们在学习中文的同时，锻炼他们的动手和创造能力。我希望通过我在艺术方面的专业知识去引导小朋友们从听故事到讲故事，再到创作故事。

Cici

I have a Master of illustration qualification, where I have gained experience in curating children's picture books and providing narrative illustration. At present I support Yimu Education with arts and crafts alongside design elements.

My teaching experience has come from listening to comparing children’s ideas to adults and applying a comprehensive plan of creating handicrafts to reflect Chinese culture. Activities are created to ensure they meet the needs and abilities of all who take part.

I hope to use my professional knowledge in art and design to guide children from listening to stories to ultimately telling them through creative outlets.

Haijiao

I currently teach Chinese language to students aged 4-7 at Yimu Education, and I also serve as a teaching assistant for both art and Chinese classes. I hold a Master's degree in Graphic Design from Kingston University, UK, and a Bachelor's degree from both Shanghai Normal University and East China Normal University. With over five years of experience in education, I have developed a comprehensive approach to teaching.

In addition to my expertise in language instruction, I am also proficient in various artistic disciplines, including oil painting, watercolour, sketching, acrylics, design, and photography. This allows me to offer students a rich and diverse learning experience.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in building strong relationships with students, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages learning. I am patient, passionate, and an effective communicator, tailoring craft and art courses to meet the unique needs of each child. My focus on innovative teaching methods helps students enhance their practical skills and express themselves creatively, fostering both personal and artistic growth.

I have achieved many accomplishments in the fields of education and art, including:

• Gold Award at the Shanghai Normal University in the 6th China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

I currently serve as a teaching assistant for both art and Chinese classes at Yimu Education. 

I hold a Master's degree in Illustration from Kingston University's School of Art, with a specialisation in children's illustration and digital painting.

Known for my quick thinking, patience, and keen observational skills, I strive to support students in their creative and language learning journeys. My background in illustration enables me to bring a unique, visual approach to the classroom, making learning more engaging and accessible for young learners.
